With great gratitude I am more than pleased to report that a personal milestone has been reached, moreover cognitively and emotionally survived. Not only because I have entered into the age of 60 – despite the fact that I am stuck at 27 or so 🤫🙃 – but also that I have been able to properly celebrate it by ”coming out” among friends, family members and relatives as the philosophical individual I have always been. For someone brought up in a non-academic, hardcore working class family structure that can be quite a challenge1 to take on as much as an introvert, highly sensitive and burnout survivor. But now the deed is done, and to my big surprise I am still standing tall – not a single serious tendency of cognitive breakdowns or stress overload despite long and intensive days lately.💪🥳 As important, the event seems to have been an appreciated experience among those who showed up. 🥰
After a long period of intense planning and a lot of preparations, on 8 March it all took place as 20 of us gathered to celebrate both my and my son’s birthday, since as it were, he had become 50 percent of my age and hereafter will only increase that proportion while my proportion of his age thus will decrease. For sure, that has been the tendency all along, but coming halfways is in itself worth the celebration. 🙃
There is a saying by Ken Wilber of waking up, growing up, cleaning up, and showing up. This event was my first deliberate face-to-face effort to the showing up part of that sequence; and that purpose explains all the efforts I started to put into it many weeks in advance. Moreover, showing up is also an essential part of what MyEvo is all about besides the obvious waking, growing, and cleaning up aspects in an evoluholistic point of view; which also explains this brief posting.
At the event a multimedia presentation was used, containing numerous deep sky pictures by my amateur astronomer son as well as by NASA and ESA. Moreover, it evolved into a quiz for the audience to crack, which not only covered a couple of questions about the Cosmos but also other aspects of the Universe – e.g. clock time/history, the human body and philosophy – under the theme of Getting out of the closet, and into the Universe. Potentially a presentation and quiz that eventually will be published here on MyEvo as well, in one form or another. 🤓
As a bonus I leave you with a short introduction by Ken Wilber of the first three steps in the sequence mentioned above; i.e. waking up, growing up, and cleaning up.
Thanks for reading, thanks to the beloved crowd that showed up, and see you guys soon again! 😊

Congratulations, dear editor. I hope you have a long life filled with deep conversations and moments of joy.
Thank you, dear reader! 🙏🥰
I am so grateful for all the visits and responses I receive, because otherwise it would feel like I was all the audience to my own writings, and that would be rather lonely I think.🙃
And by all means, I also wish you a life full of joy and growth! 🍀❤️
